As many of you have no doubt noticed, the SCA Board of Directors announced a new policy today. The policy creates a uniform standard for requiring either proof of vaccination, or proof of a negative COVID test, prior to entering an event. The implementation of this policy is currently optional, and is left up to the Kingdom Seneschal in consultation with the Crown. Calontir will not be implementing this policy at this time. There will be a discussion of the policy with the Witan at the upcoming Crown Tournament. If, at any point in the future, a decision is reached to implement the policy, it will be in coordination with the local Seneschals, and Event Stewards, in advance.
