The Video Series
1) How to Marshal Armored Combat
Who it’s for: Marshals in Training, Field Marshals, MICs, and local deputies.
What you’ll learn: Pre-fight checks, consent language, field positioning, calling holds, de-escalation, and post-bout reporting—presented as a repeatable checklist you can use at practice or event.
2) How to Inspect Armor, Weapons, and Shields
Who it’s for: Marshals performing inspections and fighters who want to pass inspection the first time.
What you’ll learn: Step-by-step inspection flow, common fails and fixes, thrusting-tip “squish test,” helm/grill spacing checks, and Kingdom best-practice notes.
3) Calontir Armored Combat Authorizations
Who it’s for: Fighters preparing for authorization and marshals running authorizations.
What you’ll learn: Expectations for each weapon form, staged evaluations (what to demonstrate and why), blow-calling standards, and safety/etiquette under pressure.
4) Rules of the Lists – SCA Martial Activities
Who it’s for: Everyone on or around the listfield.
What you’ll learn: The culture and safety framework behind every bout—honor, consent, calibration, and responsibilities—so our fights stay both hard and honorable.
